Sensei Shane Kartz - Yondan
Sensei Shane Kartz is a professional Graphic Artist and is Creative Director at Wawryk Associates Ltd. here in Saskatoon. He is also a partner in an independent film production company Up North Productions with his brother, Shidoshi Chad Kartz.

In addition to being the head instructor of Bujinkan Hayabusa Dojo, he also coaches youth soccer, is very involved with the Royal Canadian Air Cadet movement and is very active with his local community.

Shane is currently one of the highest ranking instructors of Budo Taijutsu in Saskatchewan and Alberta. At this time he holds the rank of Yondan (4th Dan black belt). Mr. Kartz has been studying Budo under the instruction of Shidoshi Kevin Millis (15th Dan) and Soke Masaaki Hatsumi (34th Grandmaster of Togakure Ryu Ninjutsu) for the last 15+ yrs. Shane continues his training through participation at various sanctioned training events around the world and makes pilgrimages to the Hombu in Japan whenever possible.
